Intensive Residential Treatment Services

The Hughes Center provides a highly structured, 56-bed residential treatment program for individuals who are diagnosed with an Intellectual Disability and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder, and who are experiencing significant social and behavioral difficulties within the home, school, and community environments.

Community-Based Day School

In addition to the educational services provided to our residential students, The Hughes Educational Center also offers community-based educational services for students with disabilities in grades 4 through 12.

The Hughes Educational Center is licensed to serve up to 20 day-school students with the following IEP classifications: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Emotional (ED), Intellectual (ID) and/or Significant Learning Disabilities (SLD), and Other Health Impairments (OHI).
