The Danville Otterbots are a local Minor League Baseball team in the Appalachian League. Their mission is to provide an inclusive setting that ensures everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a baseball game! The general manager and The Hughes Center decided that adding a sensory room would assist with inclusivity and would also attract other communities to attend the games, as we are the only ballpark with a sensory room in the surrounding area.

Danville, VA – April 19, 2022 – The Hughes Center is pleased to announce initial work has begun on a replacement facility serving children and adolescents with a groundbreaking scheduled for June 2022.
